From members of the Sacra Corona Unita to others linked to Roman crimeFrom six Italian prisons directly to Uta . The plan envisioned by the Ministry of Justice was completed on Saturday and Sunday with the transfer of 88 inmates under the 41 bis regime to the Cagliari prison.
All the prisoners under the 41 bis regime in Terni prison (21) were transferred . The same thing happened in Viterbo where there were 41 inmates in maximum security cells. Other prisoners also arrived from Milan (9), Rome (4), L'Aquila (7), Spoleto (6).
However, no names have been revealed so far, and there is no official confirmation, but the first rumors are filtering through.
The names circulating are those of highly dangerous prisoners known to the press: there's talk of the top brass of the Sacra Corona Unita, but also of individuals implicated in the Mafia Capitale investigation, thus linked to Roman crime. Or even members of the Casalesi clan, most notably a relative of the undisputed boss known as "Sandokan."
In Sardinia, the transfer has sparked strong protests against the government's decision, as well as bitter political controversy over the culprit behind the decision to make Sardinia one of the regions with the highest concentrations of highly dangerous prisoners. Regional President Alessandra Todde has announced she will appeal against the government to the Regional Administrative Court (TAR) and the Constitutional Court .
