New operation by the police against illicit drug trafficking. In action, the agents of the Oristano Mobile Squad who have seized about 3 thousand illegal Indian hemp plants and 450 kilos of already dried marijuana. Everything was found in a large piece of land in Zerfaliu.
Two arrests: ZS, born in 1980, and PA, born in 1976, both residing in Bono, caught red-handed and taken to Massama prison.
The plants were examined by the Cagliari Scientific Police Regional Cabinet and revealed a very high active principle, equal to 17 percent, therefore almost 30 times higher than the maximum allowed by law.
In a few days, three blitzes were carried out by the agents that allowed the seizure, in total, of about 12 thousand illegal hemp plants and a further ten quintals of marijuana already dried and ready to be placed on the market.
There were eight arrests in total: six people from Nuorese and two from Sassari.
