Starting Thursday 30 March, the "signature" of Salvatore Garau, a sculptor also known for his invisible works , will also be present inside the basilica of Santa Giusta, one of the most beautiful and most visited Romanesque churches in Sardinia. Exactly two works will be exhibited. One is invisible: it is an immaterial project entitled "Face of God" which follows the series of works born in times of pandemic. The other is a canvas entitled "Altarpieces for this and other planets". The latter was made in 2018 and questions the mystery of life on other planets.

It is the first time that the works of Salvatore Garau, born and raised in Santa Giusta, the same person who designed the tail of the enormous eel of Mars installed a few meters from the Municipality, as well as the head which however has not yet been positioned, will be exhibited inside a church. The appointment is at 19. Both the artist and Don Roberto Caria, the parish priest, will be present. The event was organized with the patronage of the Archdiocese of Oristano, the collaboration of the Arborense diocesan museum and the support of the parish of Santa Giusta.

It is not the first time that Garau has created invisible works. One was even sold at Italian auction house Art-Rite a few years ago. The pre-sale estimate valued the piece at between 6,000 and 9,000 euros but the bidders pushed the price beyond 15,000 euros. It is a completely invisible sculpture. Whoever won the work has in fact only the certificate of guarantee.
