The second evening of the Sanremo Festival opens.

The co-hosts, with Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini, are Pilar Fogliati, Achille Lauro and Lillo.

Fifteen of the big artists competing perform, judged by the public through televoting (50%) and the radio judging panel (50%). At the end of the voting, a ranking is drawn up, from which the top five are announced, in no particular order.

On stage—presented by Gianluca Gazzoli—the four songs competing among the Newcomers, divided into two pairs who competed head-to-head: Filippucci with Blind, El Ma & Soniko; Mazzariello with Angelica Bove. Filippucci and Bove advanced to tomorrow's final.

On stage, in an ideal relay with the Milan Cortina Games, the champions Arianna Fontana, Francesca Lollobrigida and Lisa Vittozzi and the Paralympic champions Giacomo Bertagnolli with the guide Andrea Ravelli and Giuliana Turra.

The choir of the La Spezia delegation of ANFFAS, the national association of families and people with intellectual disabilities, sings. Bresh performs live from the stage in Piazza Colombo.
