«Forward with Solinas and the united and compact center-right». Matteo Salvini spoke via video at the regional party of the League in Sardinia, convened in Fertilia. The leader of the Northern League has once again expressed his support for the confirmation of the outgoing Sardinian governor for the race towards the next regional elections.

For Salvini it was also an opportunity to illustrate what he considers his achievements in his role as Minister of Infrastructure and Transport: «After decades of promises and chatter from national and Sardinian politicians, I was together with citizens and administrators at the Combidanovu: we have accelerated and within three years it will give water to that wonderful area. I inaugurated a section of the State Road 125 between Bari Sardo and Tortolì. We have finally started", added the leader of the League, "the planning of the railway up to Nuoro, a disconnected capital".

For Salvini «Sardinia is no longer a second-class region: Sardinians have the same rights as all other citizens. The island is no longer one of the last lands we need to remember when we need to come up with money and projects."

A passage also on the price of milk: « I had been with the shepherds when they threw it away. Now he gets paid what he's worth."

The minister's endorsement for Solinas arrives on the day of the Psd'Az national congress: the party voted unanimously for the re-nomination of its secretary, current tenant of Villa Devoto.

For the regional coordinator Michele Pais «the most significant part of the evening was undoubtedly the video link speech of the secretary Matteo Salvini who wanted to greet everyone present, reiterating the League's priority interest in Sardinia».
