Campo Largo closes the electoral campaign without the joint Giuseppe Conte-Elly Schlein rally: this was decided by the presidential candidate Alessandra Todde. Matteo Salvini will continue to tour Sardinia until Friday. And on Wednesday at 4pm he will be on the stage of the Fair, in Cagliari, with the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the other deputy, Antonio Tajani, for the final push for the centre-right candidate Paolo Truzzu. Renato Soru will instead be at the Garau theater in Oristano tomorrow for the "A new morning" event after having made the first closing of the Sardinian Coalition's electoral campaign in his native town, Sanluri. Lucia Chessa, for Sardegna R-Esiste, will be in Tortolì on Tuesday and Sassari on Thursday: both appointments will be at 5pm.

These are the stages and the main protagonists of the last week of the electoral campaign in Sardinia.

The center-left alliance led by Pd-M5s that supports Alessandra Todde is in the field these days with the Giuseppe Conte-Elly Schlein duo. But with separate dates and paths that do not portend a broad field or structural agreements. The five-star leader spent three days up and down the island, while the dem secretary returns for two stages in Carbonia, in Sulcis, with Pierluigi Bersani, and in Cagliari in a public event at the Teatro Massimo. They did not meet and nor will they be together for the closing of the electoral campaign: while the staff were thinking about it, it was Alessandra Todde who cut it short. «I had the availability of Conte and Schlein and I thank them very much for their closeness and support, but I demanded that the closing of the electoral campaign be Sardinian, because this is the battle of the Sardinians».

In recent days in Sardinia, Conte had said he was "available" for a possible joint event. Schlein responded anyway: «I gave my availability to Giuseppe Conte who asked us to push together. There is great enthusiasm there, let's make it happen together." But the line remains the Sardinian one.

Meanwhile, the tone is becoming increasingly heated with Renato Soru, the former governor supported by the Sardinian Coalition who is competing with Todde for the alternative to the outgoing majority. Now the back and forth focuses on the useful vote: for Todde «voting Soru means voting Truzzu», Mister Tiscali rejects and counterattacks: «Todde is the viceroy sent by Rome to keep Sardinia subjugated».

In the centre-right, the arrivals of ministers and undersecretaries continue, awaiting Wednesday's event at the Cagliari Fair in which the outgoing majority will deploy the Meloni-Salvini-Tajani trident. But from Rome it is the League that presides over the island and almost always without the candidate Truzzu: if the leader Matteo Salvini has already completed four mini tours and after the convention on the 21st he will remain in Sardinia for two more days, until the last minute, the his deputy Andrea Crippa has crossed the sea several times in recent weeks for meetings with the local leaders of the Northern League.

Yesterday and today, however, it was the turn of the Minister of Economy and Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti, who, between Sassari and Nuoro, remarked: « I am here to support our candidates who have done well in this region, and are sure that the center-right will have the results it deserves."
