Regional elections in Sardinia: still a few hours left for the parties to finalize the lists

Still a few useful hours for finalizing the electoral lists in view of the regional elections in Sardinia on February 25th.

From tomorrow until Monday evening, in the courts of the island, the lists and the declaration of affiliation with the presidential candidate will have to be presented, and it is probable that someone will take advantage of all the time available.

The last pieces for the two coalitions of the centre-right and centre-left were put in place yesterday: on the one hand the outgoing president Christian Solinas took a step back in favor of the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu , who now leads a united centre-right with the support also of the Party Sardinian Action; on the other, in Campo Largo, the people of the Five Star Movement approve the proposed list of candidates in support of Alessandra Todde (the M5s members did the same for the list in support of the presidential candidate in Abruzzo, Luciano D'Amico) . In Sardinia, overall, there were 1317 five-star voters, 1207 in favor of the 60 names present in the eight constituencies, while only 110 expressed a vote against. In addition to the outgoing M5s regional councilors, the lists include the former mayor of Carbonia Paola Massidda, the leader of A Innantis Franciscu Sedda, several teachers and professionals and even some unemployed people.
