Regional elections, crucial hours for the centre-right: Solinas, Truzzu or the "third way"?
Waiting for the candidate to be made official. The Todde-Soru split remains in the centre-left. The presentation of the symbols is on January 15thCrucial hours in the centre-right coalition, called to formalize the name of the candidate for governor in the regional elections on 25 February.
The knot should be untied this week, perhaps as early as tomorrow.
There are three options: the confirmation of Christian Solinas , as Sardisti and the League ask, or the "branded" Fratelli d'Italia candidacy of the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu . But a "third way" is not excluded, with a name that can satisfy everyone, avoiding tears and breakages.
Meanwhile, on the other political shore, the Campo largo Pd-M5S candidate Alessandra Todde extends her hand to the world of self-determination and also receives the support of A Innantis!, which will appear on the symbol of the 5 Star Movement.
The centre-left, however, remains split: at the moment there seems to be no glimmer of hope for a recomposition with Renato Soru , supported by the Progressives and, now, also by around thirty dissidents from the Democratic Party and, new in the last few hours, by Action, Carlo's party Calendar.
Time is running out for everyone: the presentation of the symbols is expected by January 15th, and the lists by the 22nd.
