While the proclamation of the elected representatives is still awaited, the new governor of Sardinia in pectore Alessandra Todde is already working to form her council and while the centre-right and Paolo Truzzu await the official outcome of the ballot ( "I will only speak at the end" reiterated the mayor of Cagliari ), the Campo Largo parties have begun to reflect on the name that will have to fill the delicate role of president of the new regional council.

Custom dictates that the position goes to the most voted candidate of the coalition that won the elections and in this case the name would be that of Desirè Manca , who received over 8 thousand preferences at the polls. But there is a but: missing, in fact, is an exponent of the 5 Star Movement like Alessandra Todde and therefore, if custom were respected, the two highest positions of the regional institutions would both fly the five-star flag .

All with the Democratic Party being the most voted party in the coalition . Therefore Manca could be destined for the council, with a "important" department, while a representative of the Dem could be chosen for the presidency of the assembly.

In this case, the totonomians would include Piero Comandini, Giuseppe Meloni and Roberto Deriu .
