The Campo Largo summit has begun, from which M5S MP Alessandra Todde's proposed candidacy for the presidency of the Region could emerge.

Also present at the table are the Progressives (with the group leader in the Regional Council Francesco Agus) who had questioned participation until the last moment. Progressives ready to withdraw from the coalition - such as Più Europa and Liberu - if Todde's name were confirmed because - they argue - it would be a candidacy imposed by agreements made at a national level and not the result of the work of this table. In any case, the regional coordinator of the M5S, Senator Ettore Licheri, remains very optimistic. «This table is creating something very ambitious and unprecedented, which has never been seen in the political history of this island - he said before the summit - we are creating an axis, creating a common ground of political commitment, making everyone sit at the same table the main forces of independentist, autonomist, pro-European, socialist and progressive inspiration. We are baptizing a new way of doing politics. And we are aware that the center-left wins when it is united, and what unites us is the need to take the government of the Region away from this Council of lost computers."

But isn't the unit at risk? «I am convinced that in the end team spirit will emerge. Let's calmly build a project of unity."
