Raoul Bova is in the midst of a storm over the audio scandal involving model Martina Ceretti, and RAI is reportedly considering not confirming him for the new season of Don Matteo.
According to "DiPiùTv" and "Nuovo Tv," the Roman actor replaced Terence Hill three years ago, playing Don Massimo in one of Rai1's flagship dramas. But now the network is considering cutting him, according to the two weekly magazines, following the scandal surrounding his alleged relationship with the 23-year-old influencer, the audio clips sent to Fabrizio Corona by his PR friend Federico Monzino, and his separation from his partner Rocio Munoz Morales, the mother of two of his four children.
There's even a potential return for Terence Hill, who left the series after over twenty years and thirteen seasons. Raoul Bova took over in 2022, with a 14th season that maintained the success of the previous ones, and a 15th soon to be released.
A rumor, indeed, not confirmed by the top brass. Indeed, according to Fanpage.it, "his role in Don Matteo 15 is in no way in question. " Filming "is underway as usual, and, plot in hand, Bova's character continues to be central to the story." The cast includes Nino Frassica, Nathalie Guetta, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Federica Sabatini, Irene Giancontieri, Fiamma Parente, Edoardo Miulli, and Francesco Scali.
