How can we forget him in the role of Massimo Nardi in the famous series " Incantesimo ". Because Marco Quaglia , 48 years old, theater, cinema and TV actor, owes a lot to that soap, and keeps a sweet memory of it. And it was in those five years, when he entered Italian homes every day, that he made himself known to the general public.

Since then he has come a long way , ranging from sets to stages . In this period he is the protagonist of a delightful pièce set in the Christmas period, "SnowFlake", by Mike Barlett directed by Stefano Patti where he plays together with Lucrezia Forni and Adalgisa Manfrida.

A Christmas story , a moving text that teaches the value of listening and the importance of always knowing how to spend time for the people we love. The show will be on Tuesday 13 December at 8.30 pm at the Tse di Is Mirrionis theater in Cagliari, to inaugurate the "Third eye", a multidisciplinary review of new creativity organized by Cedac Sardegna and then on Wednesday 14 at 9 pm at the Alghero civic theater and Thursday 15 at 8.30 pm at the Bocheteatro in Nuoro.

Explain to us Marco, is “Snowflake” the story of a generational conflict?

«It is the story of a father and a daughter who have to learn a new way of communicating. The different way of being and thinking that my generation has towards younger kids is really generational».

Did you recognize yourself in this story?

“More than anything else, I recognized the relationship between my father and my sister a lot. I was the least problematic one."

How difficult is it today to listen to each other?

«This is the revolutionary gesture that is made in this show. Listening to each other is the most revolutionary thing that exists, it is an experience that must be had. When I read the text for the first time, I said to myself “but what is it about?”. Here, talk about listening».

Does Andy, your character, look like you?

«I am very different from him, I grew up more aware, but I believe that the task of an actor is never to judge but to understand. Andy is a simple man who grew up in the 1980s, when today's topics weren't talked about yet. I feel a lot of tenderness for him who tries, but he tries, but he gets it all wrong».

What do you remember about “Enchantment”?

“That role was very important. For five years I was on set continuously, I learned how to behave on a set. I was very lucky, then I realized that I had to grow more as an actor».

Do you find yourself more comfortable in the theatre?

«Let's say that perhaps it is more expensive to me but then it depends on the project, things are often done too quickly».

What are your plans for the future?

«Let's continue with Snowflake until February and then we'll see. In the meantime, I can't wait to come to Cagliari, which I know well. I've been to Chia which I think is the most beautiful beach I've ever seen and then I remember the evenings eating raw food in a delightful little restaurant».
