While waiting for the meeting scheduled for tomorrow between the technicians of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Enac and the Region to find solutions that can guarantee connections between Alghero airport and the peninsula's airports , new resources for Sardinia arrive from MIT linked to the implementation and construction of infrastructural works and support for mobility . Almost 72 million for the roads which add up to over 163 in favor of the naval companies for the maritime connections.

On December 29, the ranking that the MIT led by Matteo Salvini drew up to support projects for the modernization of fleets and for new shipbuilding, so-called "Green", was published, i.e. capable of ensuring better environmental performance and a significant reduction of polluting emissions, even in ports. There are 88 plans eligible for public grants, for a total amount of 163 million 395 thousand euros.
Among the shipowning companies there are Grandi Navi Veloci , which carries out the connections between Porto Torres and Genoa, which will receive around 33 million euros for retrofit interventions. 22.5 million euros are instead intended for the construction of a new ship, Toremar First, of the Toremar company , to increase its fleet. Lastly, over 8.5 million for refit projects planned or carried out by Moby and the Compagnia Italiana di Navigazione , which historically make connections for Olbia with Livorno and Civitavecchia, as well as Cagliari. And about 250 thousand euros for work on the Mega Express Three ferry , owned by Forship, the parent company of Corsica Ferries, which makes summer connections from Piombino and Savona to Golfo Aranci.
The resources disbursed are part of the allocation for a total of 500 million euros envisaged by the Complementary Plan to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr).
Approximately 71 million and 800 thousand euros are also destined for Sardinia, as an advance on the Anas program contract, for adaptation and redevelopment of the roads managed by Anas, including the modernization of the Carlo Felice state road that connects Cagliari to Sassari, as well as the South West Sardinian SS 126.
