There will be a race to 4 for the office of mayor in Oristano , the only provincial capital among the 65 centers of Sardinia called to vote on the election day of 12 June , when the referendum on justice will also be voted on.
Today at 12 the deadline for the presentation of the lists has expired, 15 are filed in Oristano for four candidates for mayor. Sergio Locci and Filippo Murgia are supported by two civic lists, Efisio Sanna runs for the center-left, Massimiliano Sanna for the center-right who regrouped at the last minute after Solinas' mediation.
Altogether there are about 200 thousand Sardinians who will have to express themselves in the choice of their representatives in small and large centers , including only two with over 15 thousand inhabitants (Oristano and Selargius) where the possible round of ballot is scheduled on 26 June.
However, in the list there are some important coastal centers such as Pula, Bari Sardo, Arzachena, Stintino, Carloforte. We also vote in Portoscuso , where the Portovesme industrial center is located, and in Tresnuraghes , one of the municipalities affected by the big fire in the Montiferru.
In the province of Oristano they vote in 19 municipalities, in Sassari in 16, in Southern Sardinia in 14, in Nuorese in 13. Three municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari are involved.
