24 million euros arrive for the fires of the Oristano.

In fact, one of the most awaited rules of the omnibus law passes, article 1 which allocates the sum to deal with the damage caused by the terrible fires that devastated the island last summer.

The money will be divided as follows: ten million for the disbursement of contributions in favor of private subjects and productive activities, including agricultural ones; two million for local authorities for the activation of forestry sites, to defend the forest heritage and against hydrogeological risk; five million euros for the granting of grants to the Forestry Agency for the development of the territory and for urgent interventions to restore damaged structures and infrastructures and safety conditions; three million for the first urgent interventions in favor of agricultural entrepreneurs who have suffered damage.

Thanks to a shared amendment, four million will also be allocated for territories affected by fires other than those of Oristano.

According to an estimate released by the Regional Councilor for Agriculture, Gabriella Murgia, 238 companies were devastated by fires.
