After starting his electoral tour in Sardinia in Sassari , Michele Santoro stopped in Nuoro in the morning, before reaching Cagliari in the afternoon. The well-known television journalist thus continues his march towards the European elections, scheduled for 8 and 9 June. To present his "Peace, Land, Dignity" list, however, Santoro must collect the necessary 75 thousand signatures, 15 thousand in each constituency.

«The collection is proceeding well, despite this absurd law - said Santoro, in his rally in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Nuoro -. In this country we are hindered, even by many centre-left municipalities." In Nuoro, however, things went as well as possible. The square was packed, despite the sea temperatures on Sunday morning. Santoro warmed up those present: «The former prime minister Giuseppe Conte only now realized what happened in Bari and spoke of moralization - said Santoro - what occurred in Puglia, however, happens in almost all Italian municipalities. I don't know how Conte didn't notice it before."

Internal dynamics, disagreements between the Democratic Party and Five Star. In Santoro's electoral programme, however, the word “peace” dominates: «I cannot accept that those children in Gaza die like that. There is a UN resolution. I cannot accept that my Government does nothing, that Europe does nothing or that it does not make its voice heard in an authoritative manner. Israel must cease fire."
