From next January 2500 navigators will have to leave. The employment contract of these professional figures - born with the aim of helping those who receive citizenship income to find a job -, extended by the Sostegni Decree, will expire at the end of the year and the budget law does not provide for its renewal.

The draft of the maneuver instead provides that the employment agencies registered in the Register and authorized by Anpal (national agency for active employment policies) can "carry out mediation activities between job supply and demand" for the beneficiaries of the measure to combat poverty. .

Their role is alongside that of the Employment Centers and is aimed at facilitating the employment of Rdc recipients, the text explains. For each hired, 20% of the incentive envisaged for the employer is recognized.
According to the trade unions Nidil-Cgil, Felsa-Cisl and Uiltemp, it is a "serious mistake not to extend the contracts to navigators" in the financial statement.

These are "professionals, selected and trained, who have made an enormous contribution to the entire system of national active policies, as well as on specific activities related to citizenship income", say the workers' representatives, who will be in the square on November 18. in Rome with the navigators. Together they will ask "all political forces to review this wrong choice, so that a solution can be found to give them continuity" by including them in the activities envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
