The 2026-2027 futsal season is ready to begin, and today it's official: fourteen Sardinian clubs will be taking part. The Board of Directors of the Futsal Division has officially announced the rosters, accepting the repechage applications of three Sardinian clubs that had requested inclusion in the new Serie B : Ichnos Sassari and Monastir in the men's division and Decimoputzu in the women's division.

In the men's tournaments, the only Sardinian team in Serie A2 is Quartu, which has been placed in Group A. Their opponents are Altovicentino, Antenore Sport Padova, Aosta, Avis Isola, Elledì, Energy Saving, Futsal Imolese, Modena Cavezzo, Olimpia Verona, Varese, and Videoton Crema. In Group B, the division for the island teams (seven in total) has changed compared to last season: no longer into two groups, but into three. Città di Cagliari and Ichnos Sassari are in Group A, with opponents from Lombardy and Piedmont; Atletico Sestu and Elmas are in Group B, with clubs from the Northeast; Monastir, San Sebastiano Ussana, and Villaspeciosa are in Group E, with teams from Lazio and one from Umbria.

In the women's leagues, Cagliari will be competing in Serie A for the third consecutive season . Their rivals are Altamura, Audace Verona, Bitonto, CMB, Falconara, Lazio, Levante Caprarica, Molfetta, Napoli, Roma, and Tikitaka. In Serie B, Ittiri and Oristanese are in Group A with opponents from Northern Italy, while Cus Cagliari, Decimoputzu, and Quartu are in Group C with teams from Lazio and Tuscany.
