Napoli-Cagliari, tickets for the championship match sold out: over 400,000 fans queuing

Just before 4:30 p.m. there were 440,952, but the number is inevitably destined to rise. These are the fans queuing (virtually) on the TicketOne website to try to buy a ticket for Napoli-Cagliari. The match of the last day, brought forward to 8:45 p.m. on Friday, is the one that decides the championship : with a victory, or with a result equal to that of Inter engaged in Como, the Neapolitans would triumph for the fourth time in their history. A situation that has led Neapolitan fans to flock to the website in droves, with endless queues and very long waiting times to be able to buy the highly sought-after ticket.
The Maradona has a maximum capacity of 54,726 seats: obviously it won't be able to hold them all. In fact, given the demand, about nine completely full seats would be needed to accommodate all the fans intending to see the match . The mere number of fans queuing for the first phase of sales (intended only for Napoli fidelity card holders, valid until 1pm tomorrow) makes it clear that it will be sold out and that there might not even be the opening of the free sale, scheduled for 2pm tomorrow. Also because each fan can buy up to four tickets, once they have gotten past the impressive waiting list.
Prices range from 40 euros for the lower Curves (with fidelity card, 45 euros on general sale) to 175 euros for the Tribuna Posillipo Premium (220 without fidelity card). Under no circumstances will it be possible to change users, with Napoli advising against showing up at the Maradona for the match against Cagliari without a ticket.
At the moment, the sale of the away sector is closed pending the decisions of the competent authorities . And, considering the precedents between the first leg ( with the clashes during the match and the suspension of Cagliari-Napoli for several minutes ) and the many restrictions this season for Sardinian fans away, it is not at all certain that it will be able to be opened.
