Federico La Penna will referee the match between Napoli and Cagliari. The referee from the Rome 1 section is the one chosen for the very delicate challenge at the Maradona on Friday at 20:45 , after a Serie A finale with several controversies in the fight for the title. If the Neapolitans were to win, or at least achieve a better or equal result than Inter (who are playing at the same time in Como), they would be champions of Italy for the fourth time in their history, the second in the last two years after 2022-2023. The rossoblù, on the other hand, have already been safe since Sunday after the 3-0 against Venezia.

With La Penna there will be assistants Alessandro Giallatini and Valerio Colarossi, both from the Roma 2 section. Fourth official Matteo Marchetti (Ostia Lido), at the VAR Daniele Paterna (Teramo) with assistant Rosario Abisso (Palermo). With Cagliari, La Penna has 3 victories (the last in Serie B on 30 April 2023, 2-1 against Ternana), 4 draws (including the last precedent, 0-0 in Empoli on 6 April) and 6 defeats (including the first leg with Napoli, 0-4 on 15 September) . For Como-Inter, the designated referee is Davide Massa from the Imperia section.

These are all the designations for the thirty-eighth and final day of Serie A.
