The moratorium must be approved immediately. And without modifications .

Alessandra Todde calls together party secretaries and majority group leaders on the eve of the start of the debate on the bill on renewables in the chamber. And it makes it clear: the provision, which is designed to "gain time" while waiting for the map of suitable areas, must be approved "quickly".

The president wants to avoid amendments coming from the majority that could modify the text and slow down its approval.

« A discussion with the group leaders was necessary , because we are on the eve of an important day, in which we will present the bill to safeguard our territory in the renewable energy sector. It is advisable for everyone to be aligned and prepared ", says Todde shortly before the summit convened in Viale Trento to take stock of the bill which aims to block the assault on the island by multinational wind companies.

«The measure must be approved quickly, and must be, as we have already specified, usable to save time», continues Todde. Changes to the text approved by the Council? «I don't think there are margins. The amendments were discussed in committee, so we will aim for immediate approval."

The governor also launches an appeal to the anti-speculation committees, who will be sitting under the Regional Council building tomorrow: «This – she recalls – is the first step of a long journey, I hope that the committees look at the final result ».

Todde also briefly focused on the tensions in the majority , after the push of the Progressives who asked for a summit: « There will be a confrontation, but after we have closed a series of essential steps . The confrontation between political forces is important, but I would hope for greater alignment between party representatives and members of the same parties who are in the Council and the Executive ."
