Sardinian mayors in revolt over the cuts imposed on local authorities by the financial maneuver developed by the government.

We are talking about one billion euros in four years , from 2024 to 2028. A shortfall, due to the spending review in terms of fewer transfers, which puts schools and transport at risk.

Emiliano Deiana (Anci Sardegna) speaks of an «unacceptable measure» and a «very serious error», while the regional budget councilor Giuseppe Fasolino, siding with the first citizens, assures: «The Region is close to the local authorities. It is not acceptable that every time we go to the base: it is always the Municipalities that have to make the greatest sacrifices."
