Andrea Colombo, from the Como section, will referee Lazio-Cagliari on Sunday at 3:00 PM at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome , for the tenth matchday of Serie A. He will be assisted by assistants Domenico Palermo (Bari section) and Vito Mastrodonato (Molfetta), and the fourth official Rosario Abisso (Palermo). In Lissone, the VAR room will be occupied by Ivano Pezzuto (Lecce) and Federico Dionisi (L'Aquila).

Colombo has only had three previous matches against Cagliari : the famous Serie B play-off semi-final against Parma on May 30, 2023, with the comeback from 0-2 to 3-2, and the home defeats against Torino (1-2 on January 26, 2024, the first after the death of Gigi Riva) and Juventus (0-1 on February 23, 2025). Curiously, the Lombard referee has refereed Lazio the team he has refereed the most (eight wins, four draws, and one defeat), and the Rossoblu are not the Sardinian side he has faced on the most occasions (Arzachena, six).
