Vigilessa killed: the sisters Zani and Mirto Milani remain silent
The three suspects for the murder of Laura Ziliani made use of the right not to answer. The motive track takes shape for money matters

The conversation between the magistrates and Paola and Silvia Zani, the two Brescian sisters accused of killing their mother, Laura Ziliani, lasted only about forty minutes. The two young women - the eldest 27, the younger 19 - have in fact exercised the right not to answer. Interrogation of guarantee also for their alleged accomplice, Mirto Milani, Paola's boyfriend, but who apparently also had a hidden relationship with Silvia. And the same script: silence. The Brescia prosecutor is therefore considering questioning them again in a few days.
Meanwhile, investigations continue into the crime, committed in Temù, in Valcamonica, where Ziliani, a former security guard, was killed, perhaps by suffocation, and her body hidden in the woods, where it was found in August, three months after the disappearance.
The prosecutor is increasingly convinced that the motive for the murder is to be found in the money. In fact, Ziliani had a huge real estate assets, on which the daughters perhaps wanted to get their hands, in agreement with Milani.
To confirm the thesis, there are also some wiretaps, where the two girls, in the days following the one that they themselves - even on television - denounced as a "mysterious disappearance", talk about the money from the rents of the mother's houses to be collected: " 900 euros, too cool, only with those we pay the advance for the new car and maybe there is even a holiday ”, said the older to the younger, for example. And even Milani, after Laura's disappearance, which took place last May, had worked hard to help the two young women collect the rent from the tenants.
After all Lucia, the middle sister of Paola and Silvia Zani, confirmed that the two young women "often quarreled with their mother" and the maternal grandmother of the Zani remembered that between Laura, Paola and Silvia there was a quarrel about the restructuring costs of a property.
However, there remain many questions and lack of answers in this disturbing story. Answers that for now the three suspects - locked up (the sisters in their cells together) in the Brescia jails of Verziano and in that of Canton Mombello - have decided to keep for themselves, until the next convocation in front of the investigating judge.
