More than 5.6 million Italians have not received even a dose of the anti-Covid vaccine to date. The data emerges from the government report on the vaccination campaign.
Without calculating 5-11 year olds, there are a total of 5,683,275 Italians without any coverage. In absolute terms, the highest number is between 40-49 (1,221,454) and 50-59 (1,038,570). In percentage terms, on the other hand, the largest slice is between 12-19 year olds, among whom 18.47% are not vaccinated, or 854,716 people.
Over 154,000 first doses have been administered in the last week, with an average of over 22,000 per day. As for the total, however, the daily doses administered are more than 500 thousand, for a total of 3,665,076. A total of 107,934,696 doses have been inoculated since the start of the vaccination campaign.
The children between 5 and 11 who received the first dose number 151,143, 4.13% of the total population of this age group.
BRUSAFERRO - The president of the ISS speaks of "good adhesion" among children. “The number of third doses increases especially for those over 80”, for which the booster dose was administered to 68% of the total population of this group.
Among the 20-29 year olds "almost 91% took the first dose", among the 12-19 year olds "80%".
Data on booster doses: between 12-19 year olds administered to 1.7% of the population, between 20-29 year olds 11.2%, 30-39 year olds 14.1%, 40-49 year olds 20.4% , 50-59 years old at 31.3%, 60-69 year olds at 41.6%, 70-79 year olds at 51.1%, over 80 at 68.4%.
An appeal to those who have not started the vaccination cycle: "There are many, it is important that they do it".
