A two-year-old boy was bitten in the face by a pit bull in Vallecrosia, in the province of Imperia.
According to what was reconstructed, the mother went with her little son to her partner's house and the attack took place here: the dog immediately pounced on the child, leaving him in a pool of blood.
On the spot the health personnel and the carabinieri. The child was transferred in red code to the Gaslini hospital in Genoa where he underwent surgery for the "revision of important injuries to the face" but, according to what has been learned from sources inside the Genoese pediatric hospital, his life is not in danger .
It is the second attack by a pit bull in a few days in the area.
Last Friday, again in Vallecrosia, a 34-year-old woman was attacked who suffered injuries to her arm and chest.
