The plane carrying Filippo Turetta, the young man accused of the femicide of Giulia Cecchettin, landed at Venice airport, coming from Frankfurt. For the boy - arrested in Germany, whose extradition was requested and obtained by the Italian Justice - the doors of the Verona prison are therefore opened.

The young man was handed over this morning in Frankfurt by the German authorities to the Italian police forces handcuffed at the hands and feet, as is practice in Germany for safety reasons for prisoners who could make reckless gestures considered dangerous.

In the next few days Turetta will be questioned by investigators, who accuse him of voluntary homicide, a charge which could also be aggravated by premeditation and abject motives .

Meanwhile, on the occasion of November 25, the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Giulia Cecchettin's father launched an appeal on Instagram aimed at all women: «Speak up, report it, trust me!», writes Gino Cecchettin, accompanying the message with a red bow.
