Two boys aged 13 and 14 fell from the roof of an abandoned farmhouse on the San Vito seafront, near the Mahara Hotel.
They fell 20 metres: the 14-year-old died instantly, the 13-year-old was taken to hospital in very serious conditions .
The boys allegedly entered a former winery in the afternoon, despite there being signs prohibiting entry and a fence . According to reports, there were three of them: in addition to the victim and the injured 13-year-old, there was also a friend of theirs .
The firefighters, the Carabinieri, the State Police, the municipal police and even the mayor of Mazara Salvatore Quinci went to the scene.
