A blow to the heart that killed him, at the height of a quarrel in the park that broke out over a dog's pee.

This is the background to the murder, which took place on Sunday afternoon in San Giovanni in Persiceto, of Tariq Aziz Uttam, a 31-year-old of Pakistani origin, residing in the town in the lower Bologna area where he worked in a foundry.

The owner of the dog - a 22-year-old from Persiceto, a metalworker with a criminal record - murdered him with a knife, after the 31-year-old protested that the dog had urinated near him.

The events took place around 4.30 pm in a green area of Vicolo Baciadonne, near the cemetery of San Giovanni, where both the boy was, in the company of some friends, and the victim on his bike.

Apparently the group of Italians, made up of six people aged between 20 and 35, was engaged in a game of the video game Pokemon Go, when the dog, a small-sized mestizo, would have done his business not far from the point where Uttam was, sparking his protests.

The man would have taken it out on the friends of the 22-year-old owner of the animal, initially not present at the discussion, then also on him when he approached a few minutes later. From the words, the two came to blows and, in a few moments, the boy allegedly pulled out a knife and hit the 31-year-old in the chest, at heart level. The same friends gave him first aid and warned 112 and 118.

The man died shortly after the ambulance arrived. The 22-year-old was arrested for manslaughter.
