The wall collapses during work on a social housing, worker overwhelmed and killed

They were carrying out work in a building belonging to Ater, the Lazio regional company that manages social housing, when suddenly a counter-wall collapsed, overwhelming them.
Two workers were involved in the very serious accident: one, a 54-year-old from Campania, died after being transported to hospital. The other was discharged with minor injuries.
The episode took place in Corchiano, in the Viterbo area, the alarm was raised by the workers' colleagues.
The conditions of the 54-year-old immediately appeared very serious, so much so that he died in the night at the Gemelli.
Three families who were staying in the building were evacuated for safety. The Carabinieri of Civita Castellana and the ASL inspectors are investigating the matter.
