A woman of about 30 was found dead on the shore of the Dora Baltea, on the outskirts of Aosta.
The body was buried in a hole two meters long , one meter wide and about 50 centimeters deep. The pit is located behind the municipal swimming pool of the city and nearby there are the remains of a kind of encampment.
The police immediately rushed to the scene to carry out the surveys. Suicide is excluded , due to the identity of the young woman - presumed to be a Val d'Aosta around 30 years old - we must wait for the DNA test.
The body had been there for some time , the prosecutor intends to arrange an autopsy to clarify the causes of death. Meanwhile, he has opened a murder file, even if no signs of violence were found on the victim's body.
