"My wife in her life has never shown signs of imbalance . She was an anxious subject, of course, but that does not mean that she did not love life, our family, our children ".

These are the words, pronounced in tears, by Luigi, husband of Raffaella Maietta , a 55-year-old teacher who died on 5 May after being hit by a train at Marcianise station , in the province of Caserta.

The body was returned to the family for the funeral, as the prosecutor did not consider it necessary to have an autopsy . The hypothesis is that it may have been a voluntary gesture . But the woman's relatives think differently.

“Ours was a life of sacrifices that we shared as young people and together, always in harmony with full respect for one another and vice versa,” continues her husband. And again: “I am disheartened. In the past , Raffaella has never threatened suicide, never attempted or spoke of self-harm . What happened is a mystery . My children and I are shocked. There is nothing left for me to do but hope that the truth will come out in order to find a reason for resignation and inner peace, myself and my two children ".

Just to see clearly, the 55-year-old's family members have hired two lawyers - Raffaele and Gaetano Crisileo - to present a complaint to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Public Prosecutor's Office , to ask that the investigations continue and that they be carried out at 360 degrees, without being overlooked. any details of the affair.

There would also be videos that could shed some light on what happened. "They told me - explained the woman's husband - that some social media are circulating in the network of videos of the tragic deadly scene that a passer-by with a mobile phone would have filmed. I will ask the magistrate to seize these recorded and launched shots on the network. because we cannot allow such images and shots to be shot ".

For its part, the prosecutor seized the footage from the cameras positioned in various points of the Marcianise railway station both before and after the investment. Videos that could ascertain whether it was really a voluntary gesture or an accident or other.
