A straight road in a usually deserted industrial area, some motorcycles whizzing by at high speed and many young people filming it with their cell phones. A race that shouldn't have been held in Biassono (Monza and Brianza) ended with the death of a 16-year-old boy because a car suddenly appeared on the 'circuit' chosen by some young people to spend their Sunday.

Christian Donzello, a student from Monza, was aboard his enduro 250 when he found himself in front of a Volkswagen Polo that had just turned into via Friuli.

The impact was inevitable and another 18-year-old motorcyclist from Carate Brianza (Monza) also ended up against the car. Immediately rescued, the eighteen-year-old was taken to San Gerardo in Monza, from where he was discharged with a seven-day prognosis, while Donzello was taken to the Niguarda hospital in Milan where he died due to the serious traumas he suffered.

The carabinieri also intervened on the spot, who identified those present and subjected the driver of the car, a 22-year-old from Brianza, to an alcohol test, which resulted negative. The carabinieri are examining the many videos of the accident that have appeared on the web and the video surveillance cameras in the area.

One of the videos was released by the Facebook page "Puntato, the police operators' app": «May these images serve as a warning. I hope Christian Donzello from up there will help us to make all our peers and us understand how we can ensure that these accidents can be reduced more and more », we read.
