Investigations continue into the tragic shipwreck that took place over the weekend on Lake Maggiore, between Lisanza and Sesto Calende, where a boat capsized due to a whirlwind.

From what has been learned, two of the four victims were employees of the Secret Service: they are 62-year-old Claudio Alonzi - married and father of two children - and 53-year-old Tiziana Barnobi, married and mother of a still minor son.

The two were in the area to participate in a convivial meeting organized on the occasion of the birthday celebration of one of the group.

Shimoni Erez, 60, a retired former member of the Israeli security forces (he would have served in the Mossad) also lost his life in the boating accident.

The fourth victim is a 50-year-old Russian woman, wife of the boat owner.
