The episode occurred two days ago in Alberobello (Bari), the scene was filmed by a person present, perhaps a friend of the girl, who then published the video on social media with the caption «Hello love, catch yourself a bit of notoriety."

And the little girl "got" the notoriety, obviously not what she would have wanted given the gratuitous violence towards a defenseless animal. The post has in fact sparked indignation on the web and among the citizens of the Apulian town.

Grey, this is the cat's name, was part of a cat colony that grows near the municipality headquarters and near a bar run by a woman who I know takes care of the cats.

The episode, we read on Facebook, "took place at night, when the temperatures were very low, unfortunately the cat died in atrocious suffering". In a post it is announced that the girl «will be reported to the competent authorities: we hope justice will be done. Whoever will answer for it will be the person who committed this horrendous act."
