Two minors were arrested by the Milan Police for sexual violence and robberies that took place on New Year's Eve in and around Piazza Duomo.

These are two Egyptians aged 16 and 17 involved in the investigation conducted by the Milan Mobile Squad and the Central Commissariat.

Among the elements that led to the arrest were the statements made in the minutes of one of the two German twenty -year-olds, who recognized her attackers. The investigation deals with at least five separate episodes that have seen eleven women victims in total.

The girl had arrived specifically from Germany to reconstruct, in front of the adjunct Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo, those terrible "20 minutes" during which she and a friend were first approached on a pretext, just before midnight, while they were in Piazza del Duomo, and then both were surrounded by a horde of young people and forced as "prey" to be abused, while in tears they asked for help, as also demonstrated by a video published on the web that went viral.

The two arrested did not give up "even in the face of the evident suffering suffered by the two young German girls", writes the investigating judge in the ordinance in which he also speaks of "very serious and deep-rooted educational gaps, resulting in an attitude of absolute unscrupulousness and indifference to more elementary rules of civil coexistence "and of" failure to respect the dignity and personal freedom of young women in an evening of celebrations ".

In the investigation there are already at least twenty suspects and two other young people ended up in prison on 12 January: Abdallah Bouguedra, 21 years old from Turin, on charges of robbery, group sexual violence and injuries (for him the Review confirmed the prison) and 18-year-old Egyptian Mahmoud Ibrahim.

The investigating judge Mascarino recognized the "serious clues" against him in the case of the abuse of four girls near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the robbery of one of them.
