A priest ended up in a cell on charges of sexual acts on a minor.
The provision was signed by the investigating judge of the court of Avellino at the request of the chief prosecutor Domenico Airoma.
The priest, Don Livio Graziano, 50, is incardinated in the diocese of Aversa, in the Caserta area. After a few years of spiritual retreat at the Sanctuary of Montevergine, he opened a nutrition consultancy office and subsequently founded the social cooperative “Effatà, Apriti”, with two offices in two municipalities in the Avellino area. The cooperative assists people, especially young people, with problems of depression and eating disorders.

For his "intense social and humanitarian activity", Don Livio was awarded the "Padre Pio da Pietrelcina" prize in Benevento in 2014.
