Very high flames, visible all the way to the highway, and residents evacuated for safety reasons. A large fire broke out during the night at Inalca in Reggio Emilia, a leading company in meat. Several teams of firefighters, from about 1:30 tonight, intervened in via Due Canali to put it out.

The column of smoke is visible from afar and the heat has melted the shutters of some houses near the plant . There are no injuries so far.
