The victim of yet another accident at work that took place this morning in San Quirico, Genoa, is a Sardinian.

Carlo Manca, 48, originally from Capoterra, worked for a company, Cosmin, which performed subcontracted works for Sigemi.

From what has emerged so far, the worker was wearing a helmet and was unhooking large pipes (about 10 meters each) from the straps after the crane had placed them on a sort of tripod.

For reasons yet to be ascertained, one of the tubes slipped hitting Manca and causing him to fall backwards.

All the equipment was confiscated and the victim's workmates were heard, leaving behind his wife and two children. In addition, the investigators acquired the images of the surveillance cameras inside the area to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy.
