He hit a man with his car, then ran away. And, recognized by a witness, he beat him .
A 40-year-old motorist was denounced by the carabinieri in Carate Brianza, in the province of Monza.

According to the first investigations, the Brianza, driving his mother's Volkswagen Golf, hit a 41-year-old, also a resident of Brianza. At first he stopped , approaching the wounded man, but when passers-by tried to stop him he ran away .

He returned after half an hour, on foot, believing he was not recognized . "He hit him," shouted a passerby. At that point he hit him in the face and fled again .

He was tracked home, while pretending to be asleep , by the military. He must answer for escape and failure to rescue and for refusing to undergo health checks to see if he had used alcohol and drugs.

The 41-year-old was taken to hospital with multiple fractures and was hospitalized for 35 days .
