Yesterday the twenty-year-old who had reported her rapists (who are now in prison) was confronted by a young man and his mother, after she had moved from a bar in Via Maqueda to the nearby Ballarò district in the company of her boyfriend. They threatened her with a knife and then dragged her to the couple's home .

The twenty-year-old, questioned during the investigation into the rape, had revealed to the investigators that she had been the victim of another violence suffered before that nightmare night last summer, and this had led the magistrates to delve deeper into the matter and proceed immediately. office against the young man, the same one who tried to take revenge on her last night .

The girl's boyfriend, who was also threatened, went to warn the police around midnight. The Prosecutor's Office has opened a case for private violence. « They shouted at me 'we'll kill you' while they beat me and took me to their house. They accused me of ruining their lives while threatening me with death ," the young woman later told the police. The boyfriend described the moments of fear he experienced last night: «They pointed a knife at us, I was immobilized. I wanted to call the police, but even the people who were in the square advised me against it, because that boy was armed and could pounce on her."

Last night the attacker, arriving by car in Piazza Ballarò, noticed the presence of the young woman and insulted her. A back and forth, it seemed all was over, but then the boy returned on foot with his mother. And then the nightmare began .

The girl was taken again to a protected location , as happened after the rape last July, to keep her safe from further threats.

Next April 19th there will be the preliminary hearing for the six adults investigated for the rape of July 7th, who have requested the abbreviated trial. A month ago the juvenile court sentenced the seventh member of the pack, who at the time of the facts had not yet turned 18, to eight years and eight months.
