The man accused by a woman who, in the latter's account, had given a kiss in front of the coffee machine during a short break from work was acquitted of sexual assault.

For him, a technician in a construction company, the prosecutor had asked for a sentence of one year in prison.

The complaint was filed by an employee of a cleaning company at the time 30 years old. In July 2016, the man - according to the version of the injured party - had suddenly grabbed her, turned and kissed her against her will. She had reported everything to colleagues and managers and a witness had seen her distraught near the coffee machine.

For the accused, however, the circumstances were different: “We always met in front of the machine - he said - for no more than two or three minutes a day. I found her a person of pleasant conversation. A minimum of confidence was created between us a little at a time. That day I made a stupid joke and she immediately leaned towards me. So we kissed. She repeated 'we have to talk', so we met in the square: maybe I was a little rude to her, but I had already regretted because I was married and why things like that, in the workplace, shouldn't be done. And his attitude changed. "

For the court, "the fact does not constitute a crime".
