He reacted to a robbery in his business and was killed by thugs.

It happened late yesterday evening in Boscoreale, in the Neapolitan area. The victim is Antonio Morione. 41 years old, owner of a fish shop in via Giovanni della Rocca.

The criminals arrived at the scene armed and carried out the robbery, but the owner reacted and pursued the robbers. One of the bandits, to ensure his escape, fired four gunshots: one hit Morione in the face, who died shortly after being taken to hospital.

The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Torre Annunziata investigate the matter and found four 9x21 caliber cartridge cases in via della Rocca, where the fish market is located.

Furthermore, shortly before Morione's death, his brother's fish market had also been robbed in Boscoreale. Here too one of the criminals had fired a gunshot, this time inside the shop but without hitting anyone. The cartridge case found is of the same type as those found in via della Rocca, it is therefore assumed that the same gang carried out the blow.
