The "no green pass" protest continues in Trieste.

After the sit-in at the port and the procession in the streets of the city, yesterday evening part of the demonstrators present in Piazza Unità moved to the Old Port to continue the garrison there, in agreement with the authorities. Others, on the other hand, remained in the square, where they spent the night.

On Saturday the presence of the Minister of Agricultural Policies, Stefano Patuanelli, is expected in Trieste, who, as reported by the protest, is expected to meet a delegation of demonstrators. The objective, as repeated many times, is to ask the government to abolish the green certification.

In the meantime, the square announced, protest will continue.

Yesterday afternoon a group of demonstrators had tried to continue the garrison in front of gate 4 of the port, cleared in the morning by the police. Clashes with the police ensued which continued until the evening.

Several times, even from Piazza Unità, some requests had been raised to guard the airport again, a point in the city that remains under observation even while waiting to understand the intentions of the demonstrators.
