After six months, the wreckage of the cabin was finally removed, which on May 23 broke away from the Mottarone cable car , an accident that cost the lives of 14 people and which saw only one survivor, little Eitan Biran, whose custody - as it is known - it has become an international case.
The cabin, wrapped in a special sheet to prevent pieces from falling and weighing over a ton, was taken away by an Erickson S64 fire brigade helicopter, which took it to the shed of the Verbania technopark. where the scrap will be subjected to further examinations and appraisals.
The operations were supervised by the prosecutor of Verbania, Olimpia Bossi, owner of the investigation into the disaster.
Meanwhile, the investigation continues. At the moment the suspects are about fifteen, between people and society.
