" I went to the morgue today to see my daughter, he's having a good time ."

This is Giovanni Ciobanu, father of Miriam , the 22-year-old girl overwhelmed and killed the other night by a car driven by Alessandro Giovanardi , 23, who tested positive for alcohol and drugs.

Yesterday, the investigating judge of Treviso, accepting the requests of the Public Prosecutor's Office, validated the arrest of the boy, however, requiring him to stay in the municipality of residence and the prohibition to leave the house between 8 pm and 6 am.

The boy who killed Miriam has already been given his freedom back, he can lead a normal life . I went to the morgue today to see my daughter while he is having a good time. I'm not angry with anyone, I just wonder if by chance that judge has a daughter ”, Ciobanu's words.

For the young person there is no need for pre-trial detention in prison as there is no danger of escape, repetition of the crime or alteration of evidence , according to the prosecutor's office and the investigating judge.

Miriam was walking on the side of the road in Pieve del Grappa (Treviso) when she was run over and killed by the car driven by Giovanardi, who then tested positive for alcohol and drugs.
