Countdown to the opening of "Merlata Bloom Milano" , the new, eagerly awaited "mall" in the Lombardy capital dedicated to shopping, food, entertainment and events.
This is the first Lifestyle Center designed according to the highest international sustainability standards , from energy and water consumption to the use of materials, from waste cycle management to technologies and systems for monitoring carbon dioxide emissions.
Merlata Bloom - an intervention developed by the Merlata Mall company of which Sergio Zuncheddu , publisher of Gruppo L'Unione Sarda, is president and CEO, and managed by Nhood Services Italy - will be inaugurated tomorrow, Wednesday 15 November.
Inside, 210 shops, including new brands and experimental concept stores, local and international brands, 43 restaurants, an Esselunga superstore,
a two-storey Decathlon store and a ci latest generation nema multiplex under the Notorious Cinemas brand .Merlata Bloom Milano is located in the center of the North West quadrant of the city of Milan, a short distance from some key areas of the capital (viale Certosa, Corso Sempione, Molino Dorino and the Gallaratese district) and will offer «new opportunities for socialising, entertainment and culture, services and commerce, but also new job opportunities."
Extreme attention is also paid to the environment, thanks to 5,000 m2 of internal and external green areas and a 30-hectare park.
The architecture of the structure is also particular and innovative: designed by the international studio CallisonRTKL , it stands out «for the references between the open private spaces and the public external parts and for the dominance of natural light in spaces built with sustainable materials, which denote attention to 'energy efficiency'.
