Migrant boat sinks in Lampedusa: 4 missing, including two children
32 were rescued by the Coast Guard, the parents of the two missing brothers also disembarked
Drama last night in the waters off Lampedusa.
A 6-metre small boat sank with 36 people on board: 32 were saved by the Coast Guard patrol boat CP327.
The other 4 are missing: they are two men and two children aged 6 years and 6 months , two brothers whose parents were rescued and managed to land on Lampedusa.
Of the 32 rescued, four were taken to hospital immediately after landing at the Favarolo pier: because of hypothermia or because they drank sea water.
