Mauled by three rottweilers while jogging: death on the outskirts of Rome

Shock in Manziana , near Rome, where a middle-aged man died when he was mauled by three rottweilers while jogging . The attack occurred near the park.

The rescue efforts were useless : the body was found on the ground around 8.30 this morning but there was nothing left that could be done for the athlete. On site were the carabinieri, park rangers, forestry police, veterinarians and dog catchers also equipped with rifles with sedatives.

The victim has not yet been identified, he has deep injuries on his body and face. The police are investigating.
