Kilos of drugs, weapons and encrypted cell phones: dozens of arrests

Nineteen precautionary measures, 45 house searches, as part of a police and carabinieri investigation of Modena, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor and the Dda of Bologna, to dismantle a criminal association aimed at drug dealing.

An organization, the investigators explain, which counted on a significant material endowment consisting of weapons, a plurality of logistical bases, money, and countless utilities and encrypted cell phones.

In the course of the investigation, the investigators add, a total of 42 arrests were carried out and over 400 kg of narcotic substances seized, as well as 230 thousand euros in cash and six pistols with relative ammunition.
